Calcivet has been formulated to supplement diets of caged birds where levels may be low in calcium and vitamin D3.

All birds on seed diets, particularly during the breeding season.
Can be used with:
Calcivet will greatly enhance available calcium in the birds diet; additional vitamins and mineral supplements are recommended for birds on seed diets.
Key features:
Supports breeding birds and their young with essential calcium. Contains Vitamin D3 to maximise calcium absorption in the gut. Supports shell formation and the normal development of bones in young birds. Regular use in all seed eating birds will ensure adequate calcium for strong bones, muscle formation and general well being. Can also be used as an emergency oral calcium supplement for egg bound or critically deficient birds.
Directions:
Water: Add 5mL (1 capful) per 250mL of drinking water. Use as the sole source of water and prepare freshsolution daily.
Seed: Pour 5mL (1 capful) over 1 cup soaked seed.
Direct dose: 0.2mL (4 drops) per 100g body weight.
