Controls various leaf eating caterpillars, including tomato grub and cabbage white butterfly, on a range of vegetables and ornamentals. Also controls mites on ornamentals, aphids on tomatoes, dimpling bug and thrips on apples and plague thrips on cherries, nectarines, peaches, plums, table grapes (not NT and TAS).

How It Works

Yates Mavrik is a broad spectrum synthetic pyrethroid that controls a range of chewing and sucking insects and mites by contact action.

Ingredients

Active Constituent: 7.5g/l TAU-FLUVALINATE

How to prepare

Shake bottle well. Measure out required amount of Yates Mavrik and mix in water.

How to use

DO NOT apply if rain is expected within 24 hours. DO NOT apply when soil is dry and plants are suffering from moisture stress.

PLANT PEST RATE HOW TO APPLY
Cole crops inc. cabbage, cauliflower, Brussels sprouts, broccoli Caterpillars (Helicoverpa spp.; native budworm, corn earworm), cabbage moth, cabbage white butterfly 10 – 13ml per litre of water Commence spraying at first sign of infestation. Use the low rate for small infestations or if caterpillars are small.
Tomatoes Caterpillars (Helicoverpa spp.; tomato grub, corn earworm), green peach aphid Repeat applications every 7 – 10 days depending on pest infestation.
Roses, shrubs and other ornamentals Caterpillars (Helicoverpa spp.; native budworm, corn earworm), two spotted mite, aphids Thorough coverage is essential. Add a wetting agent for hard to wet foliage.
Apples (not NT or Tas.) Apple dimpling bug, plague thrips 6.5ml per litre of water Apply 1 only spray during early blossom from pink stage to 20% blossom.
Cherries, nectarines, peaches, plums, table grapes (not NT or Tas.) Plague thrips Apply just prior to or at start of flowering when thrips infestation is significant. Second application during the flowering period may be required 10 – 14 days later depending on thrips numbers. This second application must not be applied outside of the blossom period.

Precautions

Not to be used for any purpose or in any manner contrary to this label unless authorised. Withholding period for apples, cherries, table grapes, nectarines, peaches
and plums is not required when used as directed. Do not pick cole crops and tomatoes for 2 days after spraying.

Caution

DO NOT allow chemical containers or spray to get into drains, sewers, streams or ponds.

Storage and disposal

Store in the closed, original container in a cool, dry place out of reach of children. Do not store in direct sunlight. Dispose of empty container by wrapping in paper, placing in plastic bag and putting in garbage.
