Zolvix™ Plus prolongs the life of all effective sheep drenches
Zolvix™ Plus is a combination drench that combines monepantel, the only member of the amino-acetonitrile derivative (AAD or ‘orange’) class of anthelmintics, with abamectin. As short-acting, broad spectrum drenches with different modes of action, monepantel and abamectin are ideal combination partners. Using drenches in appropriate combination is widely recognized as being beneficial in delaying the development of resistance to drench actives.
 
Zolvix™ Plus provides premium broad spectrum control of sensitive roundworms in sheep, including strains with single, double or triple resistance to white, clear, closantel and macrocyclic lactone drenches or their combinations.1, 2
 
Research has shown the incorporation of monepantel (one of the active ingredients in Zolvix™ Plus) into drenching programs can help to prolong the life of all effective drenches.3
 
Zolvix™ Plus is ideal for use at any time when worm egg monitoring indicates treatment with an effective short-acting drench is required*. Zolvix™ Plus is ideal for use in strategic drenching programs as a summer (WA: autumn), pre-lambing, weaning or quarantine drench. Important Safety Information
Prior to use, please consult the product label for complete instructions.
 
Repeated exposure may cause allergic disorders. Sensitive workers should use protective clothing. When opening the container and using the product, wear elbow length chemical-resistant gloves. If product on skin, immediately wash area with soap and water. Wash hands after use. After each day’s use wash gloves.
 
Withholding Periods
MILK: DO NOT USE in ewes which are producing or may in the future produce milk that may be used or processed for human consumption.
MEAT: DO NOT USE less than 14 days before slaughter for human consumption.
 
Export Slaughter Interval
DO NOT USE less than 21 days before slaughter for export.
 
Re-treatment Interval
DO NOT re-treat animals for 42 days after last treatment.
 
Directions For Use
Zolvix™ Plus is a ready to use solution. Drench sheep orally at a dose rate of 1 mL/10 kg body weight (equivalent to 2.5 mg monepantel/kg body weight and 0.2 mg abamectin/ kg body weight). Use remaining product within 12 months of opening the container.
 
 
Contraindication. This product is contraindicated for use in lambs under six weeks of age or less than 10 kg body weight.
 
A representative sample of animals should be weighed before treatment. Dose to the heaviest sheep by liveweight in each group. Where there is a large variation in size within the group, drafting into two or more lines may be appropriate to avoid excessive overdosing. DO NOT underdose.
 
Resistance may develop to any chemical. Ask your local veterinary practitioner or animal health advisor for recommended parasite management practices for your area to reduce development of resistance. It is advisable that a resistance test be conducted before any parasite treatment is used.

After use wash with warm soapy water and rinse with clean water.
